Verification on RentalMen is available to every companion, not forced on all of them - a profile can go live without it. What we do control directly is the check itself when someone completes it, and our own recommendation to clients: look for the verified badge, and treat it as the first thing you check before you unlock anyone's contact details.
What the verified badge actually means
When a companion chooses to verify, they submit a government ID and a matching selfie, and someone on the review side confirms the two match and that the photos on the profile are actually of the same person. It's the same basic check a bank or a rideshare app runs. Once it clears, a verified checkmark shows on their profile - visible on the card in search results and again on the profile page itself, so you don't have to dig for it.
Why we recommend booking someone verified
Because a profile without the badge simply hasn't had that identity check done - it doesn't mean anything worse than that, but it does mean you're taking their photos and details at face value instead of on a confirmed match. Our honest recommendation, stated plainly: when you're deciding who to hire, book, or rent, filter for verified profiles first. It's the clearest trust signal the platform actually gives you, and it costs nothing extra to look for.
What happens after you book
Once you unlock a companion's contact details, the booking itself - date, time, rate, what it's for - gets confirmed in chat, and the platform keeps a record of that conversation and the agreed terms. If a dispute comes up afterward, that record is what support looks at, rather than one person's word against another's. This part applies whether or not the companion is verified.
What to do if something feels off
Report it - through the profile, or through support directly. Accounts that misrepresent themselves, push for anything outside platonic company, or no-show repeatedly get removed, verified badge or not, and reports are how that gets caught.
