No. RentalMen is for platonic companionship only. Romantic, sexual, and adult services are prohibited in our Terms of Service, enforced through profile and photo moderation, and result in a permanent ban. If you are looking for dating, this is not the right platform.

Yes. Paying someone for their time as a platonic companion is a legal service, the same as hiring a tour guide, an interpreter, or an event host. What is not legal — and not permitted here — is paying for romantic or sexual services, which RentalMen prohibits entirely.

Travellers who want a local guide or translator, people attending events who would rather not go alone, newcomers to a city looking for company while they settle in, and anyone who would rather do something with company than by themselves.

Two separate costs. Unlocking a companion's contact details costs coins, which you buy in packages — pricing varies by country. The companion's time is paid separately at their own hourly rate, which is shown on their profile before you unlock. Browsing and viewing profiles is always free.

Rates are set by each companion and vary by city and category. Every profile shows the rate before you spend anything.

No. Unlocking a companion is a one-time cost. Once you have unlocked someone, their contact details and your chat stay available permanently, however long the gap between conversations.

Coins are not automatically refunded once you have unlocked a companion. If a companion turns out to be fake, or never responds, you can submit a refund request with a reason and our team will review it. Approved refunds return the coins and revoke the unlock.

Yes. Every companion submits a government ID and a selfie, which our team reviews before they can accept any booking. Verified companions carry a badge on their profile. Every profile and photo also passes human moderation before going live.

The platform provides identity verification, ratings from previous clients, in-app chat that keeps a record, and one-tap reporting and blocking. We recommend meeting in public places first, telling someone where you are going, and keeping conversation on the platform until you are comfortable.

Report it through the booking. Repeated no-shows result in suspension, and a no-show is grounds for a refund request on the coins you spent unlocking that companion.

Anyone over 18 who passes identity verification. There is no fee to join, no subscription, and no commission is taken from what you earn. You set your own rate, your own availability, and choose which requests to accept.
